He has presented at numerous seminars and authored a number of well-received articles, which appear in publications such as USA Today, El Paso Times, the Houston Chronicle, the Austin-American Statesman, the Waco Tribune-Herald, and more. Dedicated to sharing his knowledge and wisdom with the minds of the future, he also serves as an adjunct professor for Conrad N. Hilton College.
Prior to his current endeavors, Rahul successfully litigated commercial and ad valorem tax litigation matters. He was heavily involved in Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) litigation for a portfolio that exceeded $500 million in total value and built and managed a portfolio of over 200 limited service hotels, with brands including Hilton, Marriott, Choice Hotels, IHG and Wyndham.
Additionally, Rahul maintains an active profile in the community where he is a member of the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association, the San Antonio Hotel & Lodging Association, the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association. He is also the founder of Citizens for Appraisal Reform (CFAR), an organization devoted to helping taxpayers, tax professionals, and tax attorneys respond to appraisal practices performed by appraisal districts across the state of Texas.
